When Will Dragonflight Mythic+ Season 1 Start?

Season 1 of Dragonflight Mythic+ will begin the week of December 12, 2022.

Affixes Removed in Dragonflight Season 1

The affixes Necrotic and Inspiring will be removed from the affix rotation in Season 1. As a result, the affix rotation has been decreased from 12 to 10 weeks.

New Thundering Affix in Dragonflight Season 1

Season 1 introduces a new affix called Thundering. During combat, players are occasionally trapped in Raszageth’s storm, releasing extra energy that harms and stuns allies. It is comparable to Quaking.

Raszageth conjures a storm every 90 seconds ( Lightning Strike). If a player is caught in Thundering Orbs, they will be stunned for 1 second and receive Nature damage. Furthermore, four players will be marked during each storm. This always prioritizes your group’s three DPS and the Healer or Tank. For 15 seconds, Mark of Lightning and Mark of Wind enhance damage and healing by 15%. However, you must clear the mark as soon as the 15 seconds are up by making contact with a player who has the opposite mark. They will instead create Primal Overload, which will stun players for 8 seconds and deliver Nature damage.

Thundering will be the third affix by default starting at Mythic Keystone Level 10.

Mythic+ Dungeon Rotation in Dragonflight Season 1

Season 1 will feature a new dungeon rotation for Mythic+. Namely, four Dragonflight dungeons and four dungeons from previous expansions.

• Ruby Life Pools (Dragonflight dungeon);
• The Nokhud Offensive (Dragonflight dungeon);
• The Azure Vault (Dragonflight dungeon);
• Algeth’ar Academy (Dragonflight dungeon);
• Halls of Valor (Legion dungeon);
• Court of Stars (Legion dungeon);
• Shadowmoon Burial Grounds (Warlords of Draenor dungeon);
• Temple of the Jade Serpent (Mists of Pandaria dungeon).

Mythic+ Portals in Valdrakken

Three portals have been installed in Valdrakken to facilitate entry to the dungeons mentioned above from prior expansions. They are on the right as you enter the steps leading to the Seat of the Aspects. Legion Dalaran, Jade Forest, and Shadowmoon Valley are all accessible via portals (WoD).

Item Level of Rewards from Mythic+ and the Weekly Chest in Dragonflight Season 1

To obtain a piece of Item Level 418 treasure in the weekly chest the following week of December 19, you must finish a Mythic +18 run during the week of December 12.

Please keep in mind that awards in Mythic+ Season 1 scale up to Keystone Level 20.

To unlock item selections in the Dungeons category in the Dragonflight Weekly Chest, you must complete a set number of Mythic dungeons every week.
