PvP Changes in Dragonflight PvP Season 1

In Dragonflight, you can queue for Rated Arena by yourself. Rated Battlegrounds, on the other hand, do not have this choice.

Rated Solo Shuffle is now available. In the new Ranked mode, players may earn or lose ratings much like in Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds. Rated Solo Shuffle also contributes to Vicious mounts, weekly Great Vault advancement, and Conquest.

The Nokhudon Proving Grounds is a brand-new Arena in Dragonflight.

When Does Dragonflight PvP Season 1 Start?

Dragonflight PvP Season 1 starts on December 12, 2022, on live servers.3.1.

Unranked PvP Gear in Dragonflight PvP Season 1

In Season 1, unranked PvP gear is purchased and improved with Honor. The costs are not yet known.

Unranked PvP Gear Scaling in Dragonflight PvP Season 1

Unranked gear scales up by up to 45 item levels in PvP combat and War Mode.

Upgrading Unranked PvP Gear in Dragonflight PvP Season 1

In Season 1, unranked PvP gear may be upgraded to Rank 5 using Honort Icon Honor. The precise cost of the improvement is presently unclear, however it will be included in the near future.

Dragonflight PvP Season 1 Rewards

Icon of the ferocious Sabertooth Vicious Sabertooth is the Season 1 Vicious mount, available for purchase with 1 Vicious Saddle Icon Vicious Saddle earned by winning 100 Arena (3v3) matches or 40 Rated Battlegrounds.

Gladiators will be able to customize their Highland Drake Icon. Highland Drake is a dragonriding mount that represents the Crimson Gladiator Icon. Highland Drake: The Crimson Gladiator’s embodiment in Season 1.
