As of Patch 10.1, 5 Dragonflight world bosses are available on live servers.

• Bazual, Liskanoth, Basrikron, and Strunraan have been on a fixed rotation since December 13, 2022. They drop Item Level 395 loot.
• The Zaqali Elders are a new world boss duo added in Patch 10.1. They drop Item Level 415 loot.

What is the World Boss Rotation in Dragonflight?

• Week of April 18, 2023: Bazual spawns in the Azure Span.
• Week of March 25, 2023: Liskanoth spawns in Thaldraszus.
• Week of May 2, 2023: Basrikron spawns in the Waking Shores.
• Week of May 9, 2023: Strunraan spawns in Ohn’ahran Plains. The The Zaqali Elders will spawn in Zaralak Cavern.

The Zaqali Elders

The Zaqali Elders, consisting of Vakan and Gholna, are a pair of world bosses located in Zaralek Cavern within the Zaqali Caldera. Their whereabouts can be easily identified by an Epic World Quest marker on the map.

Vakan and Gholna, powerful djaradin elders, are each a master over their respective element. Gholna, with lava, and Vakan, with shadow flame, are locked in constant conflict over who is stronger. Each elder attempts to outdo the other through devastation and chaos until one is crowned victor.

The Zaqali Elders Overview

Vakan and Gholna engage in a competitive battle, each taking turns gaining energy to determine who can eliminate more players. Vakan utilizes the ability Enveloping Darkness, targeting random players and summoning Blistering Cyclones at their locations. On the other hand, Gholna creates Lava Geysers that erupt at random player destinations, continuously dealing Fire damage to multiple players. When fully energized, Vakan unleashes Scorching Eclipse, while Gholna casts Incineration. As one of them is defeated, the victorious one gains reduced spell recast time and an increased energy gain rate.

• Avoid Gholna’s Incineration.
• Avoid Vakan’s Scorching Eclipse.

• Gholna stacks Searing Touch on random players.
• Vakan stacks Burning Shadows on random players.

Strunraan is located in Ohn’ahran Plains.

Strunraan’s presence has been known to make the skies cry. His tempest electrifies the air and wreaks havoc upon the land. Drawn to the gale power, Strunraan now threatens the lands and people of the Ohn’ahran Plains.

Strunraan possesses the mastery of Strunraan’s gale, effectively warding off any threats with the use of Thunder Vortex and Arc Expulsion. His electrifying presence is so powerful that enemies struck by his abilities become imbued with Strunraan’s Tempest. Once his energy reaches 100, Strunraan takes to the skies and unleashes an Empowered Storm, unleashing even greater devastation.

• Strunraan’s storm-based abilities imbue the inflicted target with Strunraan’s Tempest.
• Strunraan will knock players away with Thunder Vortex and Arc Expulsion.
• Overcharge inflicts heavy Nature damage to nearby players.

You will find Basrikron in the Waking Shores.

Basrikron is significantly heavier than his kin and, as such, prefers life on the ground to soaring through the air. Basrikron’s surroundings are his to conquer and allow him to perfect his craft. He speaks, and the ground obeys, allowing him to bring to bear the full might of the earth upon those foolish enough to face him.

Basrikron Overview

Basrikron utilizes his earth-shaping abilities to manipulate the terrain, unleashing Fracturing Tremor and Awaken Crag to reshape the earth around him. When his energy reaches 100, Basrikron takes flight and dives down with a powerful Sundering Crash, obliterating all Fractured Spires and living Awaken Crags in the vicinity.

• Sundering Crash will detonate all Fractured Spires and Awaken Crags, damaging and knocking nearby players into the air.
• Awaken Crag summons elementals to attack players.

Healer Tips

• Sundering Crash will detonate all Fractured Spires and Awaken Crags, damaging and knocking nearby players into the air.
• Shale Breath inflicts heavy Nature damage to its target and increases damage taken.

Bazual is found in the Azure Span.

Bazual’s unique connection to the Plane of Fire allows him to directly siphon power from the Firelands. With the help of the Primalist forces, Bazual is expanding portals to the Firelands in the Azure Span.

Bazual Overview

Bazual unleashes his destructive power by launching Magma Eruptions that create pools of molten magma, posing a threat to players. When his energy reaches 100, Bazual takes to the sky and casts Deterring Flame, engulfing all players in flames and knocking them back. As his health drops to 40%, Bazual harnesses the fiery energy from the Firelands through Flame Infusion, causing damage to all players with Searing Heat. While infused, he replaces Magma Eruption with Rain of Destruction when his energy reaches 100.

• Deterring Flame inflicts Fire damage to all players and knocks them back.
• Magma Eruption leaves behind a pool of magma that inflicts Fire damage to nearby players.
• While infused, Bazual will cast Rain of Destruction at 100 energy.

Liskanoth Overview

Liskanoth uses her formidable abilities to control and restrain players with Glacial Storm and Binding Ice. When her energy reaches 100, Liskanoth takes flight and sweeps the valley, casting Deep Freeze upon the players below, inflicting devastating cold damage.
