Pit of Saron, like The Forge of Souls, is located in the magnificent castle of Icecrown and has two entrances, one outside the three dungeons and one near the conclusion of Forge of Souls.

The Pit of Saron is a mine that powers the Lich King’s war engine, with both undead and human captives laboring around the clock to meet his demands.

The dungeon is filled with necromancers and their minions as standard mob packs, which can cause some issues for less experienced groups of adventurers. However, the first boss Ick & Krick will provide you with some valuable information that will help you further into your journey, thus being executed for treason by the Scourgelord overseeing this mine.

The second enemy we will face is the enormous smith, Garfrost, who is rather simple to beat but will force you to combat an army of undeads and crawl down a tiny tunnel while fleeing away from falling ice in order to reach Scourgelord Tyrannus. Scourgelord Tyrannus may be a difficult encounter if the tactics are not followed correctly, resulting in repeated wipes; be cautious and patient as you fight this horrible scourge demon, adventurers!
