The following guide is a work in progress based on Dragonflight testing. As a result, it may contain incomplete, out-of-date, or otherwise incorrect information, which we will correct before distribution.
The Primalists broke into the Titan prison, which had been holding the Incarnates for millennia. Raszageth conducts a heinous ceremony within herself in order to free her brothers and rid the planet of the Titans’ control. To eliminate this menace, Azeroth’s heroes must assault this invincible castle and breach its defenses. While many may perish, failure brings the Incarnates’ rule of fire and slaughter to all realms.
The raid will begin on all difficulties during the week of December 12, 2022. One week later, on December 19, 2022, Raid Finder Wing 1 will be released.
Normal, Heroic, and Mythic Vault of the Incarnates will reopen with weekly maintenance on December 12th.
Week of December 19: Raid Finder Wing 1 of the Vault of the Incarnates opens.
Vault of the Incarnates Raid Finder Wing 2 launches on January 2nd.
The Vault of the Incarnates Raid Finder Wing 3 launches on January 16th.
Cross-faction Mythic Vault will be available right away. To be eligible for awards, Hall of Fame submissions must include at least 16 out of 20 raiders from the same guild and faction.
The Vault of the Incarnates entrance is located in the eastern part of Thaldraszus at 72 56.
When you arrive for the first time, make sure to obtain the flight path by speaking with Flight Master Nirazal.
The exact position may be found on the map below.
There are eight bosses in Vault of the Incarnates. After beating the first monster, Eranog, you have the option of tackling two distinct wings with three bosses each before meeting Raszageth the Storm-Eater.
Kalecgos will give you the Vault of the Incarnates: Break a Few Eggs raid mission. Collect three Shard of the Greatstaff from the penultimate monster, Broodkeeper Diurna, to complete the objective and unlock the raid skip. (It should be noted that the item is available in Heroic and Mythic versions for unlocking the raid skip on these difficulties.)
In the raid, Group Loot is the only form of loot distribution. There is no way to get back to Personal Loot. Personal Loot can still be used on some things, such as profession reagents.
All item level limitations on trade between members of your raid party have been eliminated completely. While within the raid, you can exchange things with minor item level boosts that are not upgrades (rings, necklaces).
The Vault of the Incarnates adds a third item level tier where things drop (up from 2). Normal difficulty item level 389 drops from Eranog, The Primal Council, Sennarth, and Terros. 395 is a new intermediate tier (formerly final bosses) for Dathea, Ascended, and Kurog Grimtotem. Broodkeeper Diurna and Raszageth are the last bosses, and 398 is saved for them.
The item level gains remain within the +13 range for each difficulty tier, with Heroic starting at 402, Mythic at 415, and so on.
Vault of the Incarnates can be cleared on four difficulties — Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic.
Certain raid monsters will purposely drop one item at a higher item level (+6 or +7 from a boss’s standard table). Unique looks, objects with particular extra effects, or trinkets are examples of such items. The list of unique drops for each boss is set and will not change.
In Dragonflight, trash monsters will no longer drop BoE goods. BoE goods will drop once per week per difficulty from ‘Lieutenant’ adversaries. More things, such as weapons, will be added to the BoE pool as they become available.
Vault of the Incarnates Class Sets are Tier Sets for the first Dragonflight raid.
Set pieces begin to drop as tokens in the raid after the fourth fight. Tokens are used to make a Soulbound Vault of the Incarnates Class item for your class.
Death Knights, Warlocks, and Demon Hunters all share dreadful tokens.
Hunters, Druids, and Mages all have access to mystic tokens.
Paladins, Priests, and Shamans all have access to venerated tokens.
Warriors, Rogues, Monks, and Evokers all have access to Zenith tokens.
Renewed Proto-Drake: Embodiment of the Storm-Eater is a Drakewatcher Manuscript that drops from Raszageth and unlocks the new Renewed Proto-Drake Dragonriding mount customization choice.
The Glory of the Vault Raider meta-achievement rewards the Raging Magmammoth mount.
