Best Races
Because the expansion we’re looking at is Wrath of the Lich King, Druids have just two options: Night Elf for the Alliance or Tauren for the Horde.
Tauren: The Tauren are great beings with a deep connection to nature and the Earth Mother, and they are the only possible race on the Horde to play a Druid. Tauren have various fascinating racial effects that can help them survive PvE confrontations and also crowd control their opponents.
The first racial impact we’ll discuss is War Stomp. This ability stuns up to 5 foes in an 8-yard radius for up to 2 seconds and has a cast duration of only 0.5 seconds. So, while dealing with a sticky circumstance, make sure to utilize it as much as possible. The sole disadvantage of War Stomp is that it compels you to return to Humanoid Form.
Endurance is the second notable race. It improves your overall health by 5%. While this effect may be more appropriate for a Feral Tank, it will undoubtedly help you live a little longer if you manage to draw aggro.
Nature Resistance is another helpful race that decreases the likelihood of being affected by nature spells by 2%.
Finally, Tauren give a race that might aid in vocation selection: Cultivation, which boosts your initial Herbalism skill by 15.
Alliance
Night Elf: The only race accessible to Alliance players who desire to play a Druid, Night Elves are a proud race that have been bestowed with immortality by Nordrassil, the World Tree. Despite losing their immortality during the Third War, the Night Elves maintain an intense relationship with nature and provide numerous attractive racial options.
Shadowmeld is the first of them, and it has a few fascinating effects. The first renders you invisible as long as you stay still, while the second is very useful in PvE since it allows you to instantaneously reduce your threat to 0% as long as someone else in your party is actively harming the target. During Raid Encounters, this effect can be life-saving.
The Wisp Spirit is the second intriguing racial, offering a 75% boost in movement speed while dead. While this effect does not immediately increase your fighting abilities, it does allow you to revive faster, allowing you to resurrect your comrades after a wipe.
Elusiveness is a racial trait that minimizes the likelihood of being discovered while in stealth or Shadowmeld. Other useful racials include Quickness, which decreases the likelihood of being struck by melee and ranged attacks by 2%, and Nature Resistance, which is the Tauren’s passive.
Best Professions
Before we can decide on the ideal professions for a Feral Druid, we need to know what you intend to do with them as a Player. Professions are primarily intended to help you make gold while also giving you with helpful mechanics that you may utilize to your advantage.
For example, you can manufacture high-value resources or craft items that can help you get access to certain dungeons and raids, or just improve your general leveling experience.
Stat-Focused and Endgame Professions
These professions provide the highest stat and endgame benefits. Under this category, we shall highlight two of them:
Jewelcrafting: is one of the professions that may provide you with a lot of gold while also adding to the game’s min-maxing component. A Jewelcrafter may manufacture extraordinary gems like the Quick Dragon’s Eye, which improve your stats more than regular gems.
Engineering: has practically become a need for any DPS that desires to maximize their stats for endgame content. Because Feral Druids rely heavily on Clearcasting Procs, the haste given by Hyperspeed Accelerators will significantly improve their damage.
Aside from the haste bonus, which you may use every 48 seconds, Nitro Boosts can let you escape a dungeon/raid mechanic or catch up to the accumulating points.
Gold Focus Without Stats
This category is for professions that have the potential to generate a large amount of gold but lack any particular stats:
Alchemy: is one of the most flexible professions in the game, providing a variety of helpful benefits from potions and flasks, as well as a quick method to fill your bags with glittering money. If you choose Alchemy as your main career, it is a good idea to mix it with Herbalism, as the cost of the herbs may be too costly for you to get on a regular basis through the Auction House.
Herbalism is a profession that allows you to collect herbs from all over the globe. It is typically used with Alchemy to produce a large amount of wealth. Because of the nature of our lesson, we can pick up herbs while in Flight Form. This provides you a significant edge over the other classes because you do not have to dismount to pick up each herb.
Mining: is a profession that allows you to harvest ore from all over the globe, giving you with a vast number of commodities that you can sell for a large profit in the Auction House. It is also required for leveling Engineering because the profession necessitates an insane number of resources.
