Karazhan Mount
Within Karazhan, players have a chance to acquire the coveted Fiery Warhorse's Reins, a mount that drops from Attumen the Huntsman. With a drop rate of just 1%, persistence is key, and many players attempt the raid multiple times across different characters to improve their odds.
Karazhan Location
Karazhan is situated at the southern end of Deadwind Pass, bordered by Duskwood to the north and Swamp of Sorrows to the south. The coordinates are 47.1, 72.4. Without direct flight paths, players need to travel by ground mounts.

Paths for Alliance and Horde
Alliance players should begin their journey from Darkshire in Duskwood, following the northeastern path into Deadwind Pass. Horde players, on the other hand, start from Stonard in Swamp of Sorrows, heading along the western route through the hills.

The servant entrance above the ballroom mezzanine offers another shortcut. Additionally, speaking to Berthold near the stairs after defeating Shade of Aran allows teleportation directly to Aran’s room.
Karazhan Vendors
Karazhan vendors are strategically placed to assist raiders with repairs and supplies. Koren, located next to Attumen the Huntsman, offers gear repairs for players Honored with The Violet Eye and sells select epic Blacksmithing recipes.
Ythyar, found outside the Gamesman’s Hall, provides reagents and The Consortium reputation rewards, along with repair services, ensuring your raid remains well-prepared.
Karazhan Reputation
The Violet Eye faction is central to Karazhan in TBC Anniversary, offering rewards based on your reputation level. Completing raids and quests inside Karazhan grants reputation, unlocking role-specific rings, a repair vendor, and profession patterns as you progress from Neutral to Exalted.
Consortium Benefits
Ythyar represents The Consortium and offers reputation-based rewards such as Jewelcrafting patterns and enchanting recipes. Gaining reputation encourages repeat runs, unlocking useful gear, recipes, and conveniences both inside Karazhan and throughout Outland.
Karazhan Bosses
The raid features numerous classic encounters, each with distinct mechanics and loot. Here, we break down every boss, from Attumen the Huntsman to Nightbane, providing strategies for tanking, DPS, healing, and handling special abilities.
Attumen the Huntsman
The fight with Attumen the Huntsman starts with Midnight alone. A single tank engages her while DPS deals damage and healers maintain stability. Once Midnight drops to 95% health, Attumen joins the fray, requiring a second tank. Both tanks should keep the bosses stacked and facing away from the raid to avoid Shadow Cleave.
The raid should focus damage on Midnight while cleave attacks naturally hit Attumen. Intangible Presence must be dispelled promptly, starting with tanks. When either target reaches 25% health, they merge into a mounted boss with the higher remaining HP. The final phase requires intense focus and quick dispels to prevent healing from collapsing.

Moroes
Moroes is a challenging encounter that requires preparation. Establish a kill order before the fight, prioritizing Lady Catriona Von'Indi and Lady Keira Berrybuck due to their healing abilities. Next, target Baroness Dorothea Millstipe for her mana burn, followed by Baron Rafe Dreuger for his stuns. Finish with Lord Robin Daris, Moroes, and Lord Crispin Ference.
📌 Note: Assign crowd control targets in advance and ensure everyone knows their role before the pull starts.
Upon pulling, separate kill targets from crowd-controlled adds. The off-tank should maintain second threat on Moroes, as he uses Gouge to incapacitate the main tank, dropping their threat. DPS should cleave down kill targets and interrupt key abilities like Mana Burn and Greater Heal. Healers must dispel Blind promptly and heal players affected by Garrote, which deals significant damage over time and can't be dispelled normally. Moroes enrages at 30% health, increasing his damage output.
💡 Tip: Abilities like Stoneform, Divine Shield, Blessing of Protection, and Ice Block can remove Garrote, making them exceptionally valuable in this fight.

Maiden of Virtue
The Maiden of Virtue encounter requires precise coordination. The main tank should hold the boss in the room's center, with healers and ranged DPS spread evenly to mitigate Holy Wrath damage. Holy Fire must be dispelled swiftly, and self-removal tools should be used by those affected to ease the healer's burden.
Maiden periodically casts Repentance, stunning the group except for the tank. To counter this, ranged DPS and healers should step into Holy Ground before Repentance is cast to break the stun quickly. After Repentance, the tank should use defensives as healers may be delayed, and Maiden's damage can spike.

Opera Event
The Opera Event in TBC Classic features three possible performances, each with distinct mechanics and strategies. Identifying the event quickly and adapting your strategy is crucial for success.
The Big Bad Wolf
This encounter is straightforward, with the main challenge being the Little Red Riding Hood mechanic. Affected players must kite The Big Bad Wolf while healers focus on keeping them alive. Be prepared for Terrifying Howl fears and Wide Swipe attacks, using abilities like Tremor Totem, Fear Ward, and Blessing of Protection to mitigate these effects.

Wizard of Oz
In this event, phase one involves defeating the cast in the correct order: Dorothee first, then Roar, Strawman, and finally Tinhead. The Crone appears in phase two, requiring players to spread out and manage chain attacks effectively. Crowd control and positioning are key to a smooth victory.
