1. Introduction

1.1. This document (the “Koroboost Bonus Policy” or “Policy”) governs the rules and conditions of the bonus and rewards system (the “Bonus System”) operated by Koroboost.

1.2. Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Koroboost Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”).

1.3. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Agreement, this Policy shall prevail only with respect to matters relating to the Bonus System. All other matters shall be governed by the Agreement.

1.4. Koroboost may introduce additional terms, rules, or conditions for specific promotions, campaigns, or events within the Bonus System. Such terms will be published on the Koroboost website or within the user account interface. Users are responsible for reviewing any updates.

1.5. If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

1.6. Matters not expressly regulated by this Policy, including but not limited to liability limitations and indemnification, shall be governed by the Agreement.

1.7. This Policy is governed by the laws of Ireland. Dispute resolution shall be conducted in accordance with the Agreement.

1.8. Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any non-waivable consumer rights granted under Irish law or applicable European Union legislation.

1.9. Where the laws of the user’s country of residence provide mandatory consumer protections that exceed those provided under Irish law, such protections shall apply to the extent required by law.

1.10. Users must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to participate in the Bonus System. By participating in the Bonus System, users confirm that they meet this age requirement.

2. Definitions

2.1. Bonus System – The reward structure under which users may earn and use Koropoints within the Koroboost platform.

2.2. Bonus Account (Koropoints Wallet) – A virtual account associated with a user profile where Koropoints are recorded and managed.

2.3. Koropoint – A virtual unit issued under the Bonus System and used exclusively for partial payments of goods and services on the Koroboost platform.

2.4. Koroboost Cashback – Koropoints credited to a user’s Bonus Account as a reward for eligible purchases or activities.

2.5. Special Campaign – A limited-time promotional activity introduced by Koroboost with specific eligibility rules and benefits.

3. Bonus Account and Koropoints

3.1. A Bonus Account is automatically created for each user upon registration with Koroboost. Users may access their Bonus Account details through their profile dashboard.

3.2. Users may accumulate Koropoints through eligible activities, including purchases and promotional events, and use them in accordance with this Policy.

3.3. Koropoints are virtual units used solely for internal accounting and reward purposes within the Koroboost platform.

Any display of Koropoints as equivalent to a currency amount is provided for convenience only and does not represent real monetary value.

3.4. Koroboost may apply internal conversion mechanisms or display rates for Koropoints that may vary based on currency selection or promotional conditions.

3.5. Koropoints may be earned through the following methods, subject to eligibility requirements:

  • 3.5.1. Top-Up Bonuses – Additional Koropoints granted when users deposit funds, subject to promotional rules.

  • 3.5.2. Special Campaigns – Participation in time-limited campaigns or events.

  • 3.5.3. Loyalty Programs and Promotions – Cashback, loyalty rewards, or similar incentives.

  • 3.5.4. Other Qualifying Activities – Such as referrals, social engagement, or birthday rewards, where offered.

3.6. Koroboost Cashback generally starts at 1% and may increase up to 5% depending on user rank, promotional conditions, or other criteria determined by Koroboost.

4. Use of Koropoints

4.1. Koropoints may be used only within the Koroboost platform and may not be redeemed for cash, transferred to other users, or exchanged outside the platform.

4.2. Koropoints may be applied toward partial payment of eligible goods and services, subject to limits based on user rank or promotional rules.

4.3. Koropoints may not be used in combination with certain discounts or offers unless explicitly permitted by Koroboost.

4.4. Koropoints are non-transferable and expire twelve (12) months after the date of issuance, unless otherwise stated. The expiration period may be extended through qualifying activity on the platform, as follows:

  • Any eligible purchase made within the 12-month period will extend the expiration date of all existing Koropoints by an additional twelve (12) months from the date of that purchase.

4.5. Where technically feasible, users may be notified through their account interface or notifications of upcoming Koropoint expiration.

4.6. Koropoints have no inherent monetary value, do not constitute electronic money, a financial instrument, or any form of property, and do not create any ownership, credit, or other legal rights beyond the limited right to use them as described in this Policy.

4.7. In the event of account closure by the user, any unused Koropoints will be forfeited immediately upon closure. Users are advised to use accumulated Koropoints prior to requesting account closure.

5. Koroboost Rights and Abuse Prevention

5.1.Koroboost may establish specific eligibility criteria or conditions for earning Koropoints based on user activity, purchase history, or participation in promotions. Such criteria shall be published and made available to users.

5.2.Koroboost reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or revoke Koropoints if the user engages in Prohibited Conduct, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Creating multiple accounts to accumulate Koropoints fraudulently

  • Using automated systems, bots, scripts, or similar technology to earn Koropoints

  • Exploiting technical errors, bugs, or vulnerabilities in the platform

  • Coordinating with others to artificially inflate Koropoints or manipulate the Bonus System

  • Providing false or misleading information to earn Koropoints

  • Engaging in any activity that violates the Agreement or applicable law

  • Chargeback fraud or payment reversal after Koropoints have been credited

  • Reselling or attempting to resell Koropoints or services obtained with Koropoints

5.3.Before restricting, suspending, or revoking Koropoints, Koroboost will:

  • Notify the user of the suspected Prohibited Conduct

  • Provide the user with an opportunity to respond within seven (7) days

  • Consider the user's response before making a final decision

In cases of suspected fraud requiring immediate action, Koroboost may temporarily suspend the user's Bonus Account pending investigation.

5.4.Users may appeal decisions related to Koropoint restrictions by contacting Koroboost customer support at info@koroboost.com. The appeal process is as follows:

  • Submit a written appeal within thirty (30) days of the decision

  • Include any relevant supporting documentation

  • Koroboost will review and respond to appeals within fifteen (15) business days

  • If additional time is required, the user will be notified of the expected timeline

  • The appeal decision shall be communicated in writing with reasons provided

5.5.Koroboost's decisions regarding the Bonus System shall be final, without prejudice to the user's right to seek remedies under applicable consumer protection legislation, through the Online Dispute Resolution platform, or through courts of competent jurisdiction.

5.6.Koroboost may modify, suspend, or terminate the Bonus System at any time. Users will be notified of material changes at least thirty (30) days in advance via email and/or account notification. Changes that are more favourable to users may take effect immediately.

5.7.In the event of termination of the Bonus System, users will have at least sixty (60) days from the date of notification to use any accumulated Koropoints before they expire.

6. Ranks and Benefits

6.1. Rank refers to a tiered user status determined by activity, engagement, or other criteria defined by Koroboost.

6.2. Rank benefits may include increased cashback rates, expanded Koropoint usage limits, access to exclusive offers, or other incentives.

6.3. Users must not attempt to manipulate rank status through fraudulent or abusive methods. Violations may result in rank removal and loss of associated benefits.

6.4. Koroboost may amend rank criteria or benefits from time to time. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.

7. Special Campaigns

7.1. Koroboost may conduct Special Campaigns with unique eligibility rules, rewards, and conditions.

7.2. Campaign-specific terms shall prevail over this Policy during the applicable campaign period.

7.3. Koroboost is not liable for temporary technical issues or disruptions beyond its reasonable control that may affect participation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

7.4. User data may be processed in connection with campaigns to evaluate performance, engagement, and compliance.

8. Data Protection and Appeals

8.1. Koroboost processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws. Users may contact customer support regarding data-related inquiries.

8.2. Users may appeal restrictions or removals of Koropoints imposed due to suspected abuse. Koroboost will review and respond to such appeals within 15 business days, where reasonably possible.

9. Acceptance

By participating in the Koroboost Bonus System, users confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Bonus Policy and the Koroboost Terms and Conditions.

This Policy does not limit or exclude any rights granted to consumers under applicable law.
