Overview of the Underbog Trash in the Burning Crusade Classic
The majority of the creatures in The Underbog are Beast and Elemental, with a few Humanoids thrown in for good measure. The following is a list of all the mobs you’ll encounter inside:
Recommended Classes at the Underbog
Because there are less Humanoids inside The Underbog, using crowd control may be more difficult depending on your party makeup. Certain classes will also need to use their cleaning skills, especially while dealing with sickness and poison. Within The Underbog, the following skills are valuable for certain classes:
The Underbog Bosses in the Classic Burning Crusade
In both Normal and Heroic difficulties, you’ll discover overviews of each boss encountered in The Underbog, covering their powers, strategies, and loot drops.
Hungarfen
Hungarfen the first boss battle in The Underbog is with Hungarfen, a gigantic fungal behemoth.
Capabilities of the Hungarfen
Foul Spores Entangles an enemgy, causing environmental harm and immobilizing them.
Summon Underbog Mushroom – the mushroom will spread and burst after approximately 10 seconds, poisoning anybody close.
Acid Geyser is a nature spell that spits acid, which becomes more powerful in Heroic Mode.
Hungarfen Strategy is a strategy devised by Hungarfen
Keep moving to evade his spores, spore clouds, and powers in this rather mobile combat. He will root himself and throw a gigantic AoE poison cloud, striking everyone within 10 yards of it, which is effectively the burn phase for your team, when he reaches 20% health.
Notes for Heroic Mode: His melee and nature abilities, particularly Acid Geyser, will do much greater damage. He’ll also start dropping mushrooms faster, so keep moving to dodge them.
Ghaz’an
Ghaz’an, a Hydra, is the second monster you’ll face in The Underbog.
Strategy of Ghaz’an
Place him against a wall with his back to you. For this fight, the remainder of the group should ponder Onyxia placement, avoiding the Tail Sweep and frontal cone acid spits.
Notes for Heroic Mode: His nature breath spell causes greater damage; nature pots or resistance might be quite useful.
Musel’ek, Swamplord
Swamplord Musel’ek The third boss in The Underbog
Musel’ek Swamplord Strategy
Swamplord Musel’ek, is joined by Claw. Consider him a Hunter, and Claw a Bear-Formed Druid. He’ll freeze everyone every now and again, so just wait it out and re-engage the boss. While the gang fights Swamplord Musel’ek first, you might have an Off-tank or a pet tank Claw.
Notes for Heroic Mode: His health and damage are much more than in Normal mode.
The Stalker in Black
The Black Stalker is The Underbog. last boss.
The Strategy of the Black Stalker
The Black Stalker employs nature spells, such as Levitate, which may float a player in the air. To avoid Chain Lightning, everyone else should disperse out, especially if a victim is suffering from Static Charge.
He obtains greater health in Heroic Mode, and his damage output is similar to Normal Mode, but he will cast additional Summon Spore Strider every 10-15 seconds. During this battle, Nature Resistance will be quite beneficial!
It’s important to remember to take Brain of the Black Stalker from The Black Stalker.
