WoW Patch 12.0.7 Revelations: Everything New
Patch 12.0.7 "Revelations" is live as of June 16, 2026. This is the mid-season content drop for Midnight Season 1. Your gear, ratings, and seasonal progress carry over untouched. No season reset, no vault changes. What you do get: a new raid, two new open-world zones, a full rune system, Dragonflight Timewalking, PvP gear buffs, and a pile of collectibles. Here's the full breakdown.
Sporefall Raid: One Boss, Maximum Loot
Sporefall is a single-boss raid in Harandar. You walk in, fight Rotmire (a fungal horror the size of a small building), and walk out with gear that skips the upgrade grind entirely. Available on all four difficulties from day one.

Every Sporefall drop is "Sporefused," landing at the maximum item level for its track. No Voidcores, no upgrade currency, no weekly grind. A single Mythic kill gives you 298 ilvl pieces that would normally take weeks of Ascendant Voidcore farming. The loot table covers 11 armor slots across all four types, plus a neck (Rotmire's Sporeheart), a ring (Sporecaller's Blooming Loop), and a trinket (Sporelord's Mycelial Insignia). No weapons drop here.
This is also the first raid to use Mythic Flex scaling. Group sizes between 15 and 25 are valid. Boss health, damage, and add counts adjust dynamically. No more benching players to hit exactly 20.
Sporefall Collectibles
- Luminous Sporeglider mount: collect 4 Delicious Sporesnacks, one per week per account, dropped by Rotmire on any difficulty. Four weeks of kills, mount is yours.
- Luminous Rotshroom: housing decor item
- Sporelord's Shroom Cap: cosmetic transmog helmet
- Madcap Redcap: toy
- Mycomancer's Hearthspore: unique hearthstone animation
The weekly quest for killing Rotmire also rewards a Void-Twisted Sporbit, which converts into a Nebulous Voidcore for the Voidforge bonus-roll system.

Naigtal and Val: Two New Void Worlds
Patch 12.0.7 opens two entirely new outdoor zones through a rotating portal in Voidstorm. The portal flips between destinations every few days, so only one zone is active at any given time.
Naigtal is a fungal landscape saturated with arcane energy. The Hal'hadar ethereals have established operations here, and your job is to dismantle them. World quests, rare spawns, zone events, and a rotating challenge system keep you busy.
Val is the polar opposite: frozen wastelands formerly occupied by the Burning Legion. A demon commander named Imperator Pertinax now runs things under the Domanaar banner. Same content structure as Naigtal, different aesthetic and enemies.
Both zones share a world boss, Nexus-Captain Leth'ir. Killing Leth'ir unlocks Heroic World Tier for both zones. Heroic World Tier cranks up enemy damage and health to the point where open-world content can actually threaten a geared character. If world quests have been sleepwalking material at 280+ ilvl, this is the fix.
Story-wise, these zones wrap up the Void leader plotlines behind the Ritual Sites and Void Assaults introduced in 12.0.5.
Void Assault Escalations
Void Assaults and Ritual Sites both receive a new, higher difficulty tier in 12.0.7. The escalated versions are tuned for characters in the 270+ ilvl range and reward Myth Dawncrests, making them a solo-friendly source of endgame upgrade currency.

Omnium Folio: The Rune System Explained
The Omnium Folio is the biggest systems addition in Patch 12.0.7. It's a runic ledger tied to an ancient elven artifact called the Sunstrider Omnium. Once you complete the intro questline, you unlock access to combat Runes that function like a secondary talent tree.
Key details:
- Runes do NOT occupy a gear slot. They exist in their own interface.
- You earn 1 talent point per week across a 5-week unlock cadence.
- Week 1: choose your Core Rune, which defines the foundation of your build.
- Subsequent weeks unlock additional rune slots and customization options.
- The system persists throughout the entire Midnight expansion, not just Season 1.
Think of it as a parallel progression track running alongside your gear. The Core Rune choice matters: it shapes which secondary runes synergize best. Optimal setups per spec will take a few weeks of live data to settle, but early theorycrafting points to significant DPS/HPS gains from the right combinations.

PvP Gear Item Level Buff
PvP players get a straight power bump in Patch 12.0.7. Item levels across all PvP gear tracks increased by 9:

Galactic Voidsliver and Galactic Void Matrix items have been removed from the game. If you had them, they've been converted to their equivalent gold value. Ratings and seasonal progress are NOT reset.
If you're pushing rating this season, the gear bump means fresh characters catch up faster. Our Gladiator Title Boost, 3v3 Arena Rating, and PvP Full Gear Boost all account for the new ilvl brackets.
Turbulent Timeways V: Dragonflight Dungeons
The Turbulent Timeways event returns for a 6-week run, bringing back six Dragonflight-era dungeons:
- Algeth'ar Academy
- Halls of Infusion
- Neltharus
- Ruby Life Pools
- The Azure Vault
- Brackenhide Hollow
These run as a separate event bracket, not part of the M+ rotation. The headline reward: Spawn of Vyranoth mount, earned by achieving the Mastery of Timeways buff during any 4 of the 6 event weeks.
Vendor mounts available for Timewarped Badges (5000 each):
The Timely Buzzbee and other returning mounts are also purchasable. Vendor location: Xydan in the Bronze Enclave, Valdrakken. After the event ends, these six dungeons join the permanent Timewalking rotation.

Player Housing Updates
Housing gets meaningful upgrades in Patch 12.0.7:
- Outdoor lighting placement is now available (with proximity restrictions to prevent clutter)
- Exterior decor limits increased: Level 5-6 houses can place 300 items outside, Level 7+ houses get 350
- Over 100 new common decor items added

Lorewalking: Assistant Lorewalker Li Li guides you through the histories of four major troll tribes: Zandalari, Drakkari, Gurubashi, and Darkspear. If you care about WoW lore, 12.0.7 gives troll civilization the full spotlight.
Darkspear Dash: A micro-holiday running June 27-28. Short, cosmetic-focused event. Mark your calendar if you collect everything.
Zul'jan Campaign (Post-Launch)
After the initial patch content settles, a new campaign chain unlocks. Zul'jan, the Amani Troll representative, investigates a mystery tied to the Amani legacy. You'll work alongside Zul'jan and Kinduru. This is a post-launch rollout, so it won't be available on day one.
UI and Quality of Life
- Personal Resource Display overhaul: adjustable size, spacing, padding, opacity. Health, resource, and class power bars can be shown/hidden independently. Color customization and new art options included.
- Durability damage reduced globally. Shield users and fast-weapon users see the biggest improvement.
- Damage Meters panel: visibility controls, shift-click detail expansion, PvP-specific coloring.
- Abundance events: spend multiple Shards of Dundun to speed-run them.
- Class-color health bars and improved threat colors on raid frames and nameplates.
