WoW Patch 12.0.7 Revelations: What's New
Patch 12.0.7 drops the "Revelations" subtitle, and for once it actually fits. Blizzard is pulling back the curtain on two entirely new Void worlds, a raid that respects your time, a full rune system, and enough side content to keep you busy between weekly lockouts. Expected release: the week of June 16, 2026. Here's everything coming and what matters for your gear progression.
Sporefall Raid: One Boss, Full Tier Loot
Sporefall is a single-boss raid in Harandar. You walk in, you fight Rotmire (a massive fungal horror), and you walk out with loot that normally takes weeks of Voidcore upgrades to reach. That's the entire pitch.
The loot breakdown by difficulty:
| Difficulty | Item Level | Track |
|---|---|---|
| LFR | 259 | Veteran |
| Normal | 272 | Champion |
| Heroic | 285 | Hero |
| Mythic | 298 | Myth |
All Sporefall drops are "Sporefused," meaning they land at maximum item level for their track. No upgrade currency needed. One Mythic kill per week hands you 298 ilvl pieces that would otherwise require Ascendant Voidcores and weeks of grinding. The loot table includes 11 armor slots across all four types, a neck (Rotmire's Sporeheart), a ring (Sporecaller's Blooming Loop), and a trinket (Sporelord's Mycelial Insignia). No weapons drop here.
Sporefall is also the first raid where Mythic uses flex scaling. Group sizes between 15 and 25 are valid; boss health, damage, and add counts adjust accordingly. No more benching three players to hit exactly 20.
Collectibles from Sporefall include the Mycomancer's Hearthspore (a unique hearthstone animation), the Madcap Redcap toy, Sporelord's Shroom Cap transmog, and the Luminous Rotshroom housing decor.
If you want to skip the prog and grab your 298 gear on week one, check our Sporefall Mythic Boost. We also run Heroic and Normal carries, plus standalone Rotmire kills if you only need specific slots.
Naigtal and Val: Two New Void Worlds
Patch 12.0.7 adds two new zones accessible through a single rotating portal in Voidstorm. The portal flips between Naigtal and Val every few days, so only one zone is active at any given time.
Naigtal is a fungal landscape drenched in arcane energy. Think Zangarmarsh crossed with Harandar. The Hal'hadar, an ethereal faction, have set up shop here, and clearing them out is the main order of business. Expect world quests, rare spawns, zone events, and a rotating challenge system.
Val is the opposite vibe entirely: frozen wastelands that the Burning Legion used to occupy. Now a demon named Domanaar Imperator Pertinax runs things. Same content structure as Naigtal but with a Legion-themed twist.
Both zones feature a world boss, Nexus-Captain Leth'ir, who serves a dual purpose. Killing Leth'ir unlocks the Heroic World Tier for both zones. Heroic World Tier ramps up enemy damage and health significantly, turning open-world content into something that can actually kill a geared character. If you thought world quests were too easy at 280+ ilvl, this is for you.
Omnium Folio: The New Rune System
The Omnium Folio is a runic ledger tied to the Sunstrider Omnium, an ancient elven artifact. Once you unlock it through the intro questline, you gain access to Runes. These are passive power boosts you slot into the Folio. They don't take up a gear slot.
You imbue and customize runes through weekly activities. Think of it as a secondary progression track that runs alongside your regular gearing. The system is designed to be engaged with over time rather than ground out in a single sitting.
Runes are customizable, so there's room for build variety. Details on the best rune setups for each spec will likely take a few weeks of live data to shake out.
Turbulent Timeways: Dragonflight Dungeons Return
The Turbulent Timeways event returns with six Dragonflight-era dungeons:
- Algeth'ar Academy
- Halls of Infusion
- Neltharus
- Ruby Life Pools
- The Azure Vault
- Brackenhide Hollow
These are separate from the Mythic+ rotation and function as their own event bracket. The confirmed reward for completing the Timeways meta is the Spawn of Vyranoth mount. If you missed these dungeons during Dragonflight or want to re-run them for nostalgia (and loot), this is your window.
For the current Mythic+ Season 1 dungeon pool, check our dedicated guide. If you need a push through the current M+ rotation, our Mythic+ Boost covers any key level.
Ritual Sites Tier 6
Ritual Sites continue their upward climb. Tier 6 is tuned for item level 270+ and requires completing 6 Challenges. The reward: Myth Dawncrests. That makes Ritual Sites a solo-friendly, repeatable source of endgame upgrade currency. If you've been doing Tier 5 on autopilot, Tier 6 should feel like an actual fight again.
For a full breakdown of Ritual Sites and Voidforge content, see our Patch 12.0.5 guide.
Player Housing Updates
Housing gets outdoor lighting placement in 12.0.7. You can now set up lights around the exterior of your property with proximity restrictions to prevent clutter. Exterior decor limits are also going up: Level 5-6 houses can place 300 items outside (up from the previous cap), and Level 7+ houses get a 350-item limit. Over 100 new common decor items are being added to the pool.
The Moth Hunt reward system has been rebuilt using quests, which should make tracking progress cleaner.
Need help leveling your house? Our Player House Level Boost handles the grind. For decor farming, check the Housing Accents Boost.
Side Content: Egg Hatching, Lorewalking, Darkspear Dash
Jan'alai Egg Hatching: You'll help Loa Speaker Brek hatch Jan'alai's eggs in Zul'Aman. This is a story-driven activity focused on protecting the first hatchlings. Expect quest chains, possibly some intermittent combat, and lore reveals about the Loa of Fire.
Lorewalking: Assistant Lorewalker Li Li guides you through the histories of four major troll tribes: Zandalari, Drakkari, Gurubashi, and Darkspear. If you're into WoW lore, this is the patch for it. Troll civilization gets the full spotlight.
Darkspear Dash: A micro-holiday scheduled for June 27-28. Details are thin, but micro-holidays are typically short, cosmetic-focused events. Mark your calendar if you collect everything.
UI Improvements
The Personal Resource Display is getting a full overhaul. You can now adjust size, spacing, padding, and opacity separately. Health, resource, and class power bars can each be shown or hidden independently. Color customization and new art options are included. The Damage Meters panel also gets visibility controls, shift-click detail expansion, and PvP-specific coloring.
Zul'jan Campaign (Post-Launch)
After the patch drops, a new campaign chain unlocks. Zul'jan, the Amani Troll representative, begins investigating a mystery tied to the Amani legacy. You'll work alongside Zul'jan and Kinduru. This is a post-launch rollout, so it won't be available on day one.
